Request for books
Tue 24 Apr 2018Dear Parents and Carers,
Could I ask you to check if you have any of the following books at home that you would be willing to donate to the school? Alternatively, if you visit any market stalls or charity shops and find any which you are willing to donate, we would be extremely grateful.
Thank you

World Book Day - Guess the Book
Wed 21 Feb 2018This year for World Book Day, we have decided to do something different to the usual 'Dress up as your favourite character'. Each class will have a Guess the Book game on Thursday 1st March 2018. For this, each child can bring in their favourite book, BUT it must be wrapped up so the cover is hidden. They will then describe the book to their class mates, who will try to guess what the book is.
Also the Friends group will be holding a second hand book sale. If you have any unwanted books, please donate them to the school office.
Each child will also receive a £1 book token, which they will be able to use to buy a special World Book Day £1 book, or put towards another book at a variety of book sellers.
Check out the World Book Day website for more details : http://www.worldbookday.com/
